Victoria/India Co-production Initiative

The Victoria/India Co-production initiative aims to foster relationships and encourage co-production or joint venture partnerships between the Victorian and Indian film and television industries.

In the first stage of this initiative, a delegation of Victorian screen practitioners attended the FICCI Frames Conference in Mumbai, India, in March 2012.

For the second stage of this initiative, funding is available to assist with the development of a co-production with an Indian-based production partner.

The first deadline for applications was 11 January 2013. This round is now closed and three companies are receiving support to develop their projects.

A second opportunity to access support through this initiative will be announced in coming months. Stay tuned!
