Moonshine Movies’ LIFE BEFORE DEATH, supported through our Screen Development - Documentary has picked up a swag of awards while touring the globe, including the Prestige Film Award (Gold Award), Best Shorts Competition (Best of Show), an Accolade Award and an Indie Fest Award. It also screened at Parliament House, Canberra this week.
The documentary, narrated by David Suchet, is a hopeful story of living well and dying better. This beautifully filmed journey takes us to 11 countries as we follow the remarkable health professionals battling the sweeping epidemic of pain that threatens to condemn one in every ten of us to an agonizing and shameful death.
Through the eyes of patients and their families we discover the inherent humanity that empowers the best of us to care for those beyond cure.
