Blake is a Director and Co-Founder of Melbourne-based game development studio League of Geeks. Blake manages the business, financial and legal aspects of the Studio and leads the design of gameplay mechanics and systems.
League of Geeks’ debut game Armello launched internationally in 2016 in 13 languages receiving worldwide accolades and winning the 2015 Australian Game of the Year from Kotaku.
Blake’s passion for design and problem solving has driven him through years of industrial and mechanical design, from product design studies in Germany, to working on Oil Terminals designing pipelines and truck loading gantries, freelance design in Tokyo, Japan, even into Property Development - working through feasibility, planning, visualisation, marketing and sales.
He has also been a Level and Lead Game Designer on titles such as Nicktoons, Scooby-Doo, Zoo Hospital, Monster Jam and more.
