Blake Mizzi

Blake is a Director and Co-Founder of Melbourne-based game development studio, League of Geeks. Blake heads the studio's business unit and the game design department as the Design Director. 

League of Geeks, also fondly known as LoG, launched their debut title Armello internationally in 2015 to worldwide accolades and winning the 2015 Australian Game of the Year from Kotaku. LoG, is the anchor tenant in The Arcade, Australia's premiere games industry co-working hub and LoG was the host studio for the international Independent Games Festival Awards in 2020.

LoG is a very active participant and supporter of the Freeplay Festival, Melbourne International Games Week, Girl Geek Academy and the Games Connect Asia Pacific conference. Blake was also a serving board member of the former Game Developers Association of Australia, shepherding their merger with the Interactive Games and Entertainment Association.

Blake's experience prior to LoG saw him in several design roles across a number of Melbourne games studios, in property development; working in marketing, feasibility and planning; and working for a Swiss oil company in the design and the construction of a number of oil terminals and pipelines across Australia.
