Career Summary

Ruth Borgobello is a writer/director for film and television. Ruth’s debut feature film, THE SPACE BETWEEN was Australia’s candidate for Best Foreign Language Film at the 2018 Academy Awards. The film has screened at several international film festivals including the 2018 Palm Springs Film Festival and Rome International Film Festival. A Victorian College of the Arts graduate in Directing for Film & TV, Ruth's other directing work includes cinema advertising campaigns for Friuli Venezia Giulia Tourism and commercial work for brands such as Alfa Romeo. She is currently attached to direct a feature film adaptation of a best selling novel for Aquarius Films and an original TV Series THE GOD PARTICLE as well as receiving development support from Film Victoria for her TV Series THE FUTURE IS NOW and from the FVG Film Fund, Italy for her feature film NIGHTFLOWERS.
