Career Summary
I am an experienced Art department Assistant and (Standby) Art Director for Television, Events and Film. I have worked freelance in the UK TV and Film industry for the past 4 years since graduating from university. On more recent productions I have been relied on within the department to help produce graphics for the production’s filming. This opportunity and step up in responsibility has been exciting and a reflection of the portfolio work I have built up. It is my ambition to further the skills I can currently have and apply them to a new field and team. I worked for a short time as an Art Department Assistant before I was promoted to my ambition of working on the set floor as a Standby Art Director. This meant gaining responsibility, working with the director to make sure everything from the set and the art department is displayed to the best possible ability for the screen’s production.
