REAPPOINTMENT OF FILM VICTORIA CEO, JENNI TOSI

Film Victoria announced today that the appointment of its Chief Executive Officer, Jenni Tosi has been extended for a further period of two years until 31 December 2018.

Commenting on the decision, the President of the Board Ian Robertson said:

“The Film Victoria Board is very pleased with Jenni Tosi’s performance as CEO.  In addition to overseeing a restructure of Film Victoria she has also overseen and implemented significant changes to Film Victoria’s Terms of Trade with the screen production industry. These achievements have both substantially benefited the industry, and improved the efficiency of Film Victoria’s funding programs.”

“Ms Tosi also enjoys excellent and productive relations with the screen production industry in Australia and overseas”, Mr Robertson said.

Jenni Tosi has held the position of Film Victoria CEO since 2011. With over 30 years’ production experience in the Australian film and television industry, along with a comprehensive network of industry relationships, Ms Tosi has been instrumental in delivering positive outcomes for the Victorian screen industry.

The announcement follows the Film Victoria 2015-16 Annual Report results which signalled another successful year for the Victorian screen industry. Film Victoria supported 67 film, television and games projects, which generated $173 million in production expenditure and contributed more than 8,000 employment opportunities for Victorian businesses and screen practitioners.
