STORYTELLING FOR SOCIAL IMPACT

Supported through Film Victoria’s Early Career and Skills Development program, Story Works will support documentary filmmakers to have a better understanding of the impact that their stories have on the world. The two-day workshop will run across February and March 2018 and teach participants how to surround documentary storytelling with philanthropic, social and corporate sector partnerships and how to build social impact strategies around their films.

The program includes two face-to-face masterclasses alongside self-paced online learning focusing on two core modules.

Masterclass 1: Funding & Partnerships
How to develop partnerships to attract philanthropic funding

Masterclass 2; How to build an Impact Campaign 
How to develop a strategy to achieve social change objectives using documentary film
Thursday 22 March 2018 10am-4pm
