Cathy Fangda Yang is a film and commercial producer, senior marketing consultant and entrepreneur. She started her career in commercial producing for Dentsu Aegis Network and later managed global creative campaigns for Forbes 500 companies including Canon, Uniqlo, Aeroflot, and most recently TikTok.
A veteran entrepreneur, Cathy co-founded social startup LESDO in 2015 with 4 million users and invested and produced over 10 short / feature films under its label. She is an associate member of Screen Producers Australia. Cathy also serves as a managing partner and marketing director of Mindspace Consulting, a Melbourne-based psychology consultancy company.
Cathy has a Bachelor of Arts from Peking University, and a Master of Producing from Melbourne University's the Victorian College of the Arts. She is fluent in Mandarin, English, and Japanese.
