Based on the modern classic novel by Elliot Perlman, the six-part psychological mystery is told from the shifting perspective of six characters and follows a complicated chain of events that throws relationships into crisis.

Seven Types of Ambiguity is produced and directed by Tony Ayres and stars Hugo Weaving, Leeanna Walsman, Alex Dimitriades and Xavier Samuel who is fresh from his roles in The Death and Life of Otto Bloom and Spin Out.

There was no ambiguity when it came to filming locations with Melbourne’s bayside suburbs of St Kilda and Port Melbourne featuring in the drama, alongside locations in Kew, Armadale and Broadmeadows.

Seven Types of Ambiguity is produced by the Victorian production company Matchbox Pictures. Film Victoria provided support through the ABC Victorian Content Initiative.
