VIC locations on show as Glitch readies for second season

  7 Sep 2017

Following season one’s gripping cliffhanger finale that left many questions unanswered, the second season is the time for those questions to be addressed.

The stakes are even higher as the Risen delve into the deeper, darker world of the forces behind their return.

Victoria provided the ultimate filming backdrop to the series, with Melbourne’s city streets providing a spectacular backdrop to many key scenes in the series. Other locations included the Royal Melbourne Hospital and sites across the Melbourne suburbs of Fitzroy North, Eltham, Keilor and Monegeetta. Regionally, with the support of the Mount Alexander Shire Council, the production made good use of Castlemaine’s historic buildings, parks and surrounds to become the fictional town of Yoorana.

ABC's second series of Glitch airs on 14 September at 8.30pm, with the whole season on iview at 9.30pm the same day.
